Joe is preparing a CD for summer release. The songs will number ten, and instrumentation features acoustic and electric guitars, piano, drums, bass and Hammond B3 played by Mark Holland. Avocet is anticipating the release of three new meditation/new age CD's.
•Jim Ballard:
Jim is gifted with an ability to articulate an exquisite serenity and clarity through his
skilled piano improvisations. This music is both relaxing and elevating. Influences are
classical, impressionist and contemporary.
•Peter Jones: Peter's music on this cd is like "listening" to a Winslow Homer painting.
It catches emotions as if they were light- and focuses them through a prism. The separated
colors are a treat to bask in.
•Joe Pod: Go to the ocean, feel the sunshine on your face, a light breeze in your hair,
and feel the interconnectedness of everything in the universe as you sit with this set of
spacious tracks with acoustic guitar and lush string pads. Very "still" music, good for
visualising or focusing.
